Every school in the UK has a board of Governors whose responsibility is to ensure that the school runs effectively and efficiently, and offers the very best education to all the children along the guidelines of the Government policies.
I am very proud to be a Governor at Catherine Infant School. To introduce myself to you, I have been involved all my life in my professional duties as a Teacher and Community Worker within the Asian communities in Leicester and for many years was a presenter on the BBC Asian Network.
I take on my role at Catherine Infants very seriously, and am committed to supporting each and every child, all parents and carers and the Head Teacher and her Team in ensuring that Catherine Infants delivers a first class service to all the children.
The Governing Body are very dynamic and supportive of our wonderful School. We are a great team.
I am often in School, please say hello if we meet...and please approach Mrs.Harrold or Mrs.Badelek if you think YOU could consider being a Parent Governor - it's a way of having your say and making your impact on your school!!! We are always looking out for new parents who wish to support our school as Governors. It's a voluntary but very important position, to make sure EVERY CHILD IS A STAR.
